Health and GLP-1 Disclaimer

1. Nutrition coaching, not medical care
Emily Dixon is a Registered Associate Nutritionist (ANutr). Nutrition coaching supports, but does not replace, the care of your GP, consultant, prescriber, pharmacist or other healthcare professional. Always speak to them before making changes to your diet, activity or medication, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have or have had an eating disorder, or take regular medication.
2. GLP-1 weight loss medication
- We offer nutrition and lifestyle coaching for people who are using, or considering, GLP-1 weight loss medication prescribed to them by a qualified, regulated prescriber.
- We do not prescribe, supply, sell, source or recommend any medicine, brand or dose, and we do not advise on starting, stopping or changing medication. Those decisions are for you and your prescriber.
- Only use GLP-1 medication that has been prescribed for you by a registered healthcare professional and supplied by a registered UK pharmacy.
- Tell your prescriber straight away about side effects. Seek urgent medical help for severe or persistent stomach pain, persistent vomiting, signs of dehydration, or any symptom that worries you.
- Please tell us about any medication you take and any changes to it, so your nutrition plan stays safe and appropriate.
3. Perimenopause and menopause
Nutrition can help with some symptoms of perimenopause and menopause. It is not a substitute for medical assessment or treatment, including hormone replacement therapy. Speak to your GP about symptoms and treatment options.
4. Results
Everyone is different. Results depend on many factors, including your health, medication, genetics and how closely a plan is followed. We do not promise or guarantee any particular weight loss or health outcome. Any examples or testimonials describe individual experiences, not typical or guaranteed results.
5. Your responsibilities
To keep you safe, please give us complete and accurate information about your health, medical history, allergies and medication, and tell us promptly if anything changes. Stop following any plan and seek medical advice if you feel unwell.
6. Website information
Articles, guides and frequently asked questions on this website are general information only. They are not personal advice and may not be suitable for you. We aim to keep them accurate and up to date but cannot guarantee that they are complete or current.
7. Our liability
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in this disclaimer limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not responsible for loss or harm arising from decisions you or your healthcare professionals make about medical treatment or medication, or from following general website information without personal advice.
